While it may look unassuming at a glance, Death’s Web is the best weapon a [Poison Necromancer] can use. It can offer +2 to All Skills as well as +2 to Poison and Bone Skills, giving the Necromancer a total of +4 to their Poison and Bone Skills, but this is secondary compared to the mod it’s truly prized for: -40% to -50% enemy poison resistance. In Hell difficulty, this is going to dramatically increase the damage output you deal with poison damage, which means it’s a key item for Poison Nova specialists.

There are plenty of downsides, however. Death’s Web has little in the way of survivability, and its bonus to Poison and Bone skills varies, although this is less important than a good roll on the poison resistance reduction. The more unfortunate aspect of Death’s Web is its sheer rarity; being an Unearthed Wand, it can only drop in a select few areas: Baal, Pindleskin and enemies in aLv85 areas can drop it. Like most of the game’s rarest items, it’s arguably not worth the rarity, but that’s little comfort to an aspiring [Poison Necromancer].
