Trang-Oul’s Wing cannot really compete with [Homunculus] for most Necromancers, but it’s not a bad alternative in lieu of [Homunculus], especially for a Poison Necromancer. This totem grants its user +2 Poison and Bone Skills, a decent amount of Strength and Dexterity, and hefty bonuses to Fire/Poison resistance. Its three set item bonus reduces enemy Poison Resistances by 25% - a fine boon for the Poison Necromancer that almost makes Trang-Oul’s Wing competitive.

While this armor has a relatively low iLv of 32, its base item - a Cantor Trophy - probably won’t drop until the middle of Nightmare difficulty… which means it shouldn’t be too hard to get from Nightmare Mephisto.
