While not terribly useful as an offensive weapon, the Blade of Ali Baba has one interesting property: +1% magic Find per character Level. While it can’t compete with [Gull] in terms of pure Magic Find (it has a base 100% Magic Find), it comes awfully close, and has two open sockets. With two Ist runes socketed in it, the Blade of Ali Baba has the second highest Magic Find of all one-handed weapons in the game, behind only a six-socket weapon adorned with six Ist runes. This weapon also has +2.5% Gold From Monsters per Character Level, which will also help with wealth accumulation. On the downside, the Blade of Ali Baba has little else of interest to offer and requires 42 Dexterity to equip. All in all, it’s a good Magic Find weapon with some downsides.

The Blade of Ali Baba has an iLv of 43, making it a midtier drop. Like most midtier drops, Nightmare Mephisto is one of the first enemies who will drop it, and is probably the easiest to farm for it.
