Suggested Level: 21
After the last quest, “ Wrath of the Poets “ ends, a new quest “ Symposiasts “ will begin. Just move far enough away from the odeon for it to pop up, then return and speak to Phanos. In the wake of his latest successful play, Phanos sees fit to celebrate, and arguably nobody deserves more of a share in that success than Bayek.
Follow him as he leads you to the scene of the festivities, along the way dispatching a patrol of guards (level 20) that accosts you. The violence - evidence of Phanos’s continued poor relations with the powers-that-be in Alexandria - do not deter Phanos, however, as afterwards he’ll finish the journey to his home, which can be rightfully described as a den of debauchery. Talk to him inside his hedonistic play house only to be interrupted by more guards. Seems the first patrol was no fluke, and if you’re to properly enjoy your day, it’ll only be after more blood is spilled.
Head outside the house and you’ll be greeted by a handful of soldiers (level 21) including one brute. This batch is easily dispatched, but they’ll be joined by more foes shortly, including a second brute. Dispatch all the foes, then head inside the house and chat with Phanos, who counts his losses, boasts of the public relations benefits of being a persecuted “blood poet”. Bayek, ever the voice of prudence, will encourage Phanos to strike back, an endeavor which will take some time.
