Follow the path until you reach a split and take the southwest path to a dead end with the Tengu Mask , an Elixir , and Red Rosemary and then backtrack and continue south around the area. When you reach the next split make sure to take the western path first to collect a Flexuous Hat before taking the northwest path to a teleporter.
Head south and west to a split and then take the northern path to a dead end with an Adamantine Waistcoat , All-Divide , and Red Saffron .
Backtrack to the split and continue northeast around the center of the area and keep heading northwest at the split to reach a platform with a Squelched Ring and Red Chamomile . You can now backtrack one platform and enter the center of the area to encounter the boss.

This character from Tales of Abyss is primarily a caster that uses quick spells to defeat your party, but that doesn’t mean he can’t attack with strong melee artes when attacked at close range. Like Sophie, Jade has no elemental or category weakness that can be exploited to stagger him, meaning that he is likely going to get his casts off unless you juggle him with aerial attacks.
Armatize with Lailah to give yourself some durability and then spam her Vermillion Crescent > Scorched Valley > Tower of Blood to keep Jade in the air and make sure to guard whenever he is about to cast a spell, since they can easily kill you.
Don’t rush after Jade when he runs away to cast a spell, because he’ll get the spell of on you while you’re running, and when he reaches low health you’ll need to keep the pressure on and your characters at max health because once he starts to use Soverign Gale on your party he’ll be able to unleash his arena wide Mystic Arte, Mystic Cage.
After officially meeting Jade you’ll gain the Third Eye fashion item and can teleport out of the dungeon
