Remove the pair of Flandragoras and hop up to a collect a Belladonna Wand (weapon which improves Debuffing for Vanille) and then save if you wish. On a little platform are several Gremlins who should be dealt with using area of effect attacks like Blitz to bring them all down quickly. Their Fire spells can add up to damage you significantly.

A circular platform with a tree stump in the center, surrounded by Flandragoras, holds the Procyons (weapon for Sazh which increases Stagger time) on the right side. After battling the Gremlins further along, turn south to a dead end where another gang of Gremlins guard a Doctor’s Code . Snatch it from them and return to the path proper.
