Dead Island 2 Kelli Jo’s Suitcase Key¶

The main thing you need to know about this key is that you need to have completed the following things:

1. Complete the main story mission in Monarch Studios, where you find Michael.
2. Get the secondary quest, Boz Makes a Bang. You typically get this after you help the other survivor group, with the first mission starting in Hotel Halperin. You get the prompt to start this side quest at the radio at the end of the Monarch’s Studios, found near the safe point of the map with the fast travel sign.
3. Once you have done that, you can return to Monarch Studios, and get this key.

Once you’re back at Monarch Studios, go ahead and track the Boz Makes a Bang. You pretty much play the role of a trench warfare soldier on D-Day, blowing zombies up in a film scene, which is nice. Once that’s done, it seems to unlock Kelli Jo.

Kelli Jo’s location is near the signing information booth on the south side of Studio 3. Head to the carpark area of the studio, and then look for the tent. Kelly should spawn in that general area. Once you have killed her, feel free to loot Kelli Jo’s Suitcase Key from the floor and head back to her trailer. You can find the trailer between Studio 4 and 5 on the path called Best Supporting Path.

When you arrive there, you will find three newly named zombies are banging on her trailer. These are Paul Everett, Carolyn Sanchez, and Jennifer Emrick. We believe these are supporting actors and actresses in the same film she works on. So, its a bit of Hollywood banter from the devs (unless it’s an easter egg of some sort?) Once you’ve taken care of those, you can safely enter the trailer and open Kelli Jo’s Suitcase Lockbox. This case will drop a weapon called the Agile Officer Sword, which is a fast attack-modified weapon for frenzy chopping. While you’re here, there’s also a Skope you can activate, presuming you’ve done Searching for the Truth if you’re into collectables.
