During the second part of the Halperin Hotel questline in Dead Island 2, players will need to make their way through the rest of the hotel. There are several small puzzles to solve, and new types of zombies will be introduced for you to combat. The guide below goes over how to complete Room Service For Major Booker and make your way to Halperin Hotel’s boss.

How to Investigate The Halperin Hotel Pool in Dead Island 2¶
After you hear Major Bookings ramblings, you will want to head to the door that leads to the Halperin Hotels pool. This is a short walk, and as you approach the pool, you learn that it’s filled with acid. There is a zombie directly in front of the water. You will want to kick it in and then start searching the pools for clues about what the military was doing. Your first clue is at the pump on the left side of the pool. After you have interacted with it, walk to the right and look at the label on the box. The last clue is on the other end of the pool, in the form of a hose being emptied into the sewer.

Once you are done putting the pieces of the acidic puzzle together, Major Booker will come over the intercom again with a drunken ramble. This will cause the gate near the sewer clue to open and all the zombies in the area to wake up. You can either choose to fight them or run through the gate and start moving through the hotel’s floors. If you do choose to fight the zombies, you can lead or knock some of them into the pool but the ones wearing hazmat suits will need to be dealt with using brute force as they’re immune to the acid!
Once you do start to head back into the hotel, you will run into a generator that is blocking the hotel’s entrance by electrifying the ground. Simply hit it with your weapon to break it and go inside. you will need to walk up a staircase to reach the hotel’s second floor. The hallways in the hotel are narrow but you will find zombies spread throughout it. These are easy to deal with. At the end of the hallway is some rubble you can crawl through and fire blocking your bath on the other side. Before you proceed, you will want to grab a jug of water from the closest, crawl through the tunnel with it and use it to put out the fire. Be cautious, as a Burning Runner will attack you.

You will now be moving through the hallway using rooms to get around blocks. In addition, there are several optional rooms with loot inside. You will want to go into the office to the right and turn off the breaker. Afterward, you can use the elevators to climb to the third floor.
How to Reach Major Booker’s Room in Dead Island 2¶
Once you climb up the elevator, you will need to make your way through another thin hallway. Be cautious, as there are Grenadier Walkers that will explode shortly after you attack them. You will want to make your way into the first room, where you will find some rubble, and break the wall shown in the picture below by attacking it.
After a few hits the damaged wood will break.
Keep pressing forward until you reach a room with an open air vent above the bed. You will need to climb inside. Make your way through the vent. There are two zombies that are easy to take out along the way. You will hear Major Booker again as you make your way through. Once you drop down, fight off the zombies and make your way to the bedroom of room 307. Inside you will find Major Booker’s body, and the keys to the hotel will appear next to her.
Grab The Major’s Master Keys and head up the hallway.
Once you reach the elevators, you will find a split cable with one end spitting out electricity. Grab the nearby jug of water and pour it generously in between these two wires until the electricity conducts enough to power the elevator’s doors. Once this is done, hop down, and open the bottom elevator to make your way back into the lobby. You will need to go to the locked ballroom and proceed inside. Grab the walkie-talkie that’s placed on the desk. After you do so, the boss battle for Halperin Hotel will begin.
