Dead Island 2 Redacted Walkthrough

By
Craig Robinson

If you’re stuck finding the Dead Island 2 Redacted Lost and Found mission’s paper trail, you’ve come to the right place. We know exactly where you must go to complete Dead Island 2’s Redacted Lost and Found quest, ultimately leading you to a great legendary weapon.

Dead Island 2 Redacted Walkthrough

(1 of 3) The Damaged in Transit Note is the first part of the Redacted quest, found in Shipping Container 78 on the beach.

Now that you are on the quest, you need to head to the following locations for all the parts:

  1. Shipping Container 78
  2. Shipping Container 58
  3. Shipping Container 66

We have given you a map of roughly where the Dead Island 2 Redacted Paper Trails are to assist you. The third marker on the map is where you get the Lost and Found Reward and complete the quest.

Here’s a map roughly outlining where to go for each step needed to complete the Dead Island 2 Redacated Lost and Found quest.

When you go to Shipping Container 78, you must head inside the shipping container next to it. You will find some climbable boxes, which will allow you to access the roof of that container, and then cross via some wooden planks acting as a bridge. You can then drop into 78, and get the note at the rear of the container. Once you pick that up, some more military zombies will spawn, along with a "Crusher" iconCrusher you can fight or flight, depending on your mood.

Now you need to head back to the tower where Rodriguez is located. Head through the Beach Offensive route, or head out and take the side gate located very close to the tower. Whichever you prefer. Once you’re back at the tower, Container 58 is located near the fenced area where you enter the tower near the red button you hold to raise the gate. Some zombies will spawn inside it and charge out. These are a few Riot Geared "Walker" iconWalkers, and some other nonsense. Feel free to "Meat Bait" iconMeat Bait, and throw a "Pipe Bomb" iconPipe Bomb, Frag Grenade, or some other form of explosive to maim and take the armor plates off the Riot Geared and defeat the regular Walkers. Kill them all, and you can head inside and get the note at the back.

Now it’s time for the last part of the Redacted Lost and Found Mission in Dead Island. You will have to head inside the tower, and then take the rear exit at the south. Turn right, and keep yourself along the blocky walls. You will then find a right turn that keeps you on the western death pit side of the tower. Here, you will find the named zombie, "PVT. Delgado" iconPVT. Delgado, alongside a "Butcher" iconButcher. A "Burster" iconBurster is also inside the bathroom as well, but you can avoid fighting it. Take care of the threats, and you can then safely enter the final container, complete the quest, and get the legendary assault rifle, "Bodycount" iconBodycount.

And with that said, you will now have completed the Dead Island 2 Redacted Lost and Found mission. Congratulations on your new weapon(s), and knocking off even more named zombies off your list.
