Do you need help finding Nikki’s Prize Key in Dead Island 2? You will find that these keys spawn very late into the game, and you won’t be able to open them as you find this safebox naturally. If you plan to return later and open this lockbox, you must return after the blood drive missions where you complete Santa Monica Pier level.

To unlock the Nikki’s Prize Key spawn in Dead Island 2, you must complete the Santa Monica Pier level and return to Dr Reed with the Blood Drive. You can return to Beverly Hills and get these keys.

Once you have done that, head to the Burster spawn on the west side of the map. Look for the lockbox in Nikki’s House, and then look northwest where the grass is towards the Fuse icon. Head to that direction, and deal with any bursters and walkers in the area.

As you begin to explore that patch of grassland, you will find that a Butcher called Target Practice will likely sneak up on you. This is the same type of NPC that you fought at the end of the Santo Monica Pier clown boss battle. Make sure to dodge his flurry attacks, and don’t attack when he puts his bladed arms up. Otherwise, it will block all attacks.

Try and doge to its back and get back attacks in when it is not looking. Moreso, feel free to use a long-reach weapon, such as a Polearm, a Bo Staff or something else. These weapons grant really good reach, and the Butcher enemies don’t tend to dodge their heads all that much. Also, feel free to use lightning to pin these agile boys down and get some free heavy hits in with other weapons to destroy their stamina.

Once it’s dead, you can return to the mansion, which is a Screamer Hotspot. This is the same mansion you visited in the Justifiable Zombiecide mission, where you unlocked ranged weapons with Sam B. Head upstairs, find Nikki’s Prize Safe, and open it now you have the Nikki’s Prize Key in Dead Island 2! You should get a decent-quality weapon from it, since you will be high-level, and because you needed to kill a butcher to get it in the first place.
