There’s more trouble afoot in Monarch Studios, and the star of Space Fox 2250 has realized her limitations and seeks the slayer’s aid in clearing out a menace stalking the studios. Lend a helping hand and keep these somewhat eccentric and delusional survivors alive - this page will provide a walkthrough for the side quest Terror of Sound Stage 7 in Dead Island 2.

How to Start Terror of Sound Stage 7 in Dead Island 2¶
The second quest in the Captain Vixen/Sebastian storyline, before you unlock Terror of Sound Stage 7 you must first complete It Came from Monarch Studios. Once done, travel to Monarch Studios (you may have to zone out and zone back in before the quest becomes available) and interact with a radio on a table in the safe zone, where Sarah will ask you to meet her by her trailer, properly starting this side quest.
Pass through sound stage 3 and make your way to the western edge of sound stage 4, outside of which you’ll find Sarah Sheppard’s trailer. Talk to her and she’ll tell you about some problems plaguing the studios - problems that are beyond her ability to resolve. She needs you to clear out the “Ruins” set and “City Streets” set, in the latter of which a real nasty zomboid lurks.
How to Clear out the Ruins Set in Terror of Sound Stage 7¶
The simpler of the two objectives, for this one you need merely make your way south from Sarah’s trailer and take the first left (east) to find some doors leading into the studio to the right. Once inside you’ll be tasked with clear the area - nothing too crazy, just some 
Walkers, Burning zombies and perhaps the odd 
Burster.

How to Clear out the City Set in Terror of Sound Stage 7¶
This one is more complicated. Navigate through the Ruins set in Sound Stage 7 to reach the City set, where you’ll find some corpses you need to investigate. Do so (only one is out in the open, on the ground floor, you’ll need to climb the set to the north and south to find the other two bodies) and once all three have been gawked at you’ll determine the menace is a 
Butcher, and for some reason, you can lure it out by leaving behind more corpses.
This requires you to kill five zombies inside the City set, and there are several ways you can do this:
- Throw down some
Meat Bait and hope for the best - Go outside an lure any zombies you find to the City set (triggering car alarms outside might help)
- Wait for zombies to spawn
Not exactly riveting stuff. You can also fiddle with the rig controls and see if they generate enough ruckus, but doing this prematurely deprives you of a potential trap to use against the Butcher when it arrives. However you go about it, get five fresh corpses strewn about the City set of Sound Stage 7 and the named Butcher, the Terror of Sound Stage 7 will spawn. Kill it by whatever means you wish - just be sure to lure it into the open, as flanking Butchers is key. We’re not shy about leaning into Fury Mode to deal with these pests.
Once the Butcher is dead, return to Sarah to complete the quest, earning 3,000 XP and the unique, superior 
Whispering Blade Jade Dragon for your efforts. The followup quest in this questline, Beacon of Hope should be available immediate afterwards, just head to Hollywood Boulevard.
