The more you explore the world of Atomfall, the more puzzles you’ll come across, and the Interchange especially is chock full of them. Once you gain at least one additional Atomic Battery, you can power up one of the Data Stores to gain further access of this massive facility. This page will tell you how you can restore the power to Data Store Delta and get at the items that are being housed there.

Data Store Delta Location¶

The first thing you can do before getting to work on this puzzle is accessing the Interchange itself, which is usually the first big Lead of Atomfall. Many of the clues you find around Slatten Dale seem to point in the rumored location of The Interchange, which is located to the northeast of the map (Map Marker), or east of the entrance to Wyndham Village. If you’re coming from another region, you’ll need to find its respective entrance, our Interchange Entrance Locations guide will tell you where you can find it in Casterfell Woods, Wyndham Village, and Skethermoor.

Before you make your way to it (you should take the Slatten Dale entrance, as it’s the easiest to reach Data Store Delta), make sure you have at least one extra Atomic Battery on you. The easiest to get is buy purchasing it from Trader Molly at the Trader Camp, you’ll find her at 26.3 E, 79.0 N (Map Marker). You’ll need to barter for items in Atomfall using your own items, so it may be worth investing in the Charisma Skill to increase the value of them. Once you’re ready and have your Atomic Battery on you, head to the Interchange.

Once you enter the Interchange, head through until you reach the Central Processor Room at the heart of the complex (there will be nowhere else you can go while its powered down). Take the Atomic Battery (this would be your second on you) from the nearby scientist and insert it into the console to restore power, then go back the way you came and take a left to reach the door for Data Store Delta where you can now use your card to gain access. Once inside, head through the only other door here and go down the stairs to find a console where you can place another Atomic Battery, this provides power to this whole sector.

Data Store Delta Store Room Electrified Water Puzzle¶

Head down some more stairs and on your left you’ll find the locked Store Room that requires the Data Store D Store Room Key to gain access to. If you turn to the right now, you’ll spot the bottom of the room is flooded and is electrified due to the fallen cables, needless to say, if you set foot in there, you’re going to die. Fortunately, there is a way to get around here to find the key that you need to get into that door.

Start by heading back up the stairs a little and then turn to face the room, you should be able to leap to the top of the nearby server. From here, follow the tops of these servers over to the northern corner and stand on the tallest point to be able to jump over to the walkway above. You’ll find a body up here and, when examined, you can nab the Data Store D Store Room Key from him and then unbar the door at the end of the walkway.

All that remains now is to head back to the Store Room, insert the key you just picked up, and claim your spoils. The main winner here is the Crafting Skill Manual if you’ve yet to find it in your playthrough yet, alongside the Training Stimulants sitting close by (we found two here).
