Tips¶
These next set of challenges mainly occur in Mt. Snowpeak’s Lava Cave or around Tortuga Archipelago.
To reach the Lava Cave, head south-west from the Crowned Champion’s house. Meanwhile Nautilus Cave is found near the centre of the Archipelago.
None of the common monsters should pose any problems, but do note that Zombie Pirates are more common at night.
You also won’t find the Angry Zombie except during night–this furious breed can be found before the northern shipwreck or south of the central fishing pier, amongst other locations.
It’s time to show the Napdragon who’s boss (you, hopefully).
But as you scroll down the list of Challenges, you may notice one rather tricky one… a battle against the Napdragon !
You’ll want to be around Level 30 for this Challenge, with all the best gear and potions you can gather. Also drag along two powerful NPC allies, such as Odin after completing the Al Maajik Story Quest.
The Napdragon itself can be found sleeping east from the Paladin’s Watchtower, south-east from the Elderwood entrance or south from the Mt. Snowpeak entrance.
It has three main attacks: jaw chomp, tail swing and dragon breath. Its dragon breath can be avoided by sticking to its body, while you can shield to deflect its jaw chomp or tail swing.
The easiest way to win this bout is sticking close to the Napdragon, moving in a circle to disorientate it and shielding whenever it attacks. The Napdragon’s jaw chomp and dragon breath take a lot of time to complete, leaving the dragon open for punishment.
Later, it may roar into the air, producing visible sound waves, which triggers a set of fiery eruptions around the ground it walks. Get ready to run or shield to reduce the damage if you’re too close.
