Just one Challenge for a Hero Magician and it’s a tough one, alright. To find Calamitus , head east from the entrance of Ancient Ruins and the sinister wraith will be waiting at the very end.

If we’re being honest, the Lightning Wraith is probably harder than Calamitus because Calamitus behaves no different to the other wraiths you’ve fought.

So expect the same shrill cackle followed by a swinging claw or illusion and a twirl of the claws to unleash a magical onslaught. Although this time you will need to sidestep a lot to avoid Calamitus’s magic blast.

As an added bonus, Light Magic (Shooting Star or Yuelia’s spells) deals a lot of damage to Calamitus, which kind of makes up for its uselessness against the Lightning Wraith.

Although Calamitus is easier, it’s still hard. So stock up on SP Potions and bring two allies who can take a few hits. If you’ve beaten the story, Daemon and Erik are good choices because of their magic attacks. Colin, who’s just outside the Ancient Ruins isn’t bad either.
