Born from the darkness of the Netherworlds, these warriors are skilled in the art of Ninpo, and are renowned assassins. For this reason, they are feared by those in power. they follow strict rules and take pride in their absolute loyalty to their master.
The Ninja is unlocked as a playable class upon reaching Thief Rank 2 and Brawler Rank 3. The Ninja can be a bit of a mixed bag, as they can become very hard to hit sometimes, especially when being attacked from an adjacent panel, thanks to their unique Evility, Mirage. They have a great base Move and Jump stat, but their HP and DEF aptitudes are pretty poor, meaning if they do get damaged, they’re not going to be able to take many hits. They don’t really have a specialization, as far as a weapon is concerned, since they are decent with fists, swords, and staves.
Considering their best stat is SPD, it might be a good idea to stick with fists with them, as increasing their SPD even more can help with their dodgy nature. If you can manage to get some more evasion Evilities, then you can make an unhittable character with the Ninja. This class also has no elemental weaknesses, as well as a high Axe resistance.
The Ninja’s unique Evility is called Mirage, increasing their evasion rate when attacked by an adjacent panel by 50%. Naturally, if the attack is not coming from an adjacent panel, then the evasion is normal, which can be a problem. This makes the Ninja pretty good against melee units, but ranged attacks and mages can still take down the Ninja pretty efficiently. Sharp Eye increases the unit’s critical rate by 5%, which when equipped on something like a Ninja, is nice, as they already have a high critical rate as a base. Sasuke increases movement by 1 and jump power by 12, which is always nice, but there are better and less intrusive ways to increase these stats.
Feint cancels out the enemy’s counter attack, which when going against enemies with a high counter stat, is a good thing. Assassination increases the damage dealt by 30% when attacking from behind, which can fit into a lot of builds. This might be the best common Evility in the Ninja’s repertoire, simply because a damage increase is always good. Secret Recon increases your movement by 5, but max HP becomes 1. When you think about it, survivability is always important and while a five movement is great, even getting hit once will KO this unit. As mentioned above, there are easier ways to increase movement without becoming a wet paper bag.
There are three major areas in the Disgaea universe, Celestia, which is home to the angels, the Human World, and the Netherworlds. The Netherworlds are split up into a bunch of different ones, each governed by an Overlord, who has their own set of rules. Those very same Netherworlds are now in danger of being destroyed or taken over by an evil army known as The Lost, who is being led Void Dark. However, a ray of hope appears in the form of Killia, who seems to have a deep grudge against Void Dark. Can he really go through the rumored 10 billion Lost soldiers and exact his revenge against Void?
