Battle

On the PS4 version of the game, Pleinair is unlocked upon buying the Season Pass. She is included in the base game with the Switch and PC versions of the game. Pleinair is an average character that feels like she is more built for support than battle, despite her superb stats and aptitudes in HIT and SPD, meaning she is good with a gun. It is weird, though, as she comes equipped with a staff weapon, with her being average with that weapon. All of her Evilities are centered around support, so you should probably build her as such.

Evilities

Pleinair’s unique Evility is called Idol Assist, which increases the stats of all of your allies on the map by 10%. This is a pretty good Evility in the beginning portions of the game, as well as in the middle portion. However, it drops off in the end game, when you are using other Evilities to fill in your stats boosting. Hungry Warrior increases your attack by 20% when you have a curry effect, which is something you will be doing a lot once you unlock the Curry Shop. Of course, there are better options that don’t depend on having a curry effect active, though.

Hungry Spirit increases the Mana and EXP earned by allies by 25%, which is only really useful whenever you are leveling up characters or farming Mana for them. That means it’s situational, but it is useful. The final common Evility is called Acceleration Mascot, which increases the movement of all allies on the map by two. Naturally, this is always useful, since the more movement you have, the better off you will be.

Evility Slots Effect Req
Idol Assist Unique Increases stats of allies on the map by 10% Default
Hungry Warrior 2 Increases ATK by 20% when a curry effect is active 500 Mana
Hungry Spirit 5 Increases Mana and EXP earned by allies by 25% 5000 Mana
Acceleration Mascot 5 Increases movement of allies on the map by 2 30000 Mana

Trivia

  • Disgaea D2 is the only game in the main series without a playable version of Pleinair, although there is some data that suggests she was going to be made playable in some manner.
