As sworn guardians, the samurai have protected the Celestial Gate for centuries. Although they lost their jobs as guardians, many samurai were forced to become professional sword masters. Their pride in their swords is highly regarded. They follow a strict code called Bushi Road.
The Lady Samurai becomes an unlockable class once you have a Rank 2 Archer and a Rank 3 Fighter. The Lady Samurai is a sword specialist, so she should always have one equipped. This is reflected in her high ATK stat and aptitude, but she also has decent DEF, HP, and HIT aptitudes. The Samurai does lack in SPD, though, as their aptitude is low enough that they won’t be dodging any attacks on their own. Their unique Evility makes it so they are better fighting enemies one-on-one, as they receive a damage bonus doing so. Of course, the Lady Samurai could actually benefit from some of its own common Evilities to continue dealing higher damage to a single target.
The Samurai’s unique Evility is called Bushido, allowing them to increase their damage dealt to a single unit by 50%. That means that the Lady Samurai should almost always be focusing on a single enemy at all times, because of the 50% extra damage. Mind’s Eye nullifies attack revisions when attacked from the side or behind, which basically means any bonuses received from those angles will be gone. Head-to-Head will increase the damage dealt by 30% when attacking enemies from the front. Put this on the Samurai and attack single targets from the front to get even more damage.
Euthanasia will make normal attacks deathblow targets whenever they have less than 25% HP. There are a few problems with this one, though, as some enemies are immune to deathblows, plus outside of maybe the main story maps, you will likely be defeating enemies in one attack. Duelist increases the damage dealt if the target is the only unit in a squad. This is a bit situational and you aren’t really going to be checking enemy squads during a battle, although Squad Attack is a thing. This could be a thing, though, as extra damage is always helpful. To The Death will increase your attack by 100% during Revenge Mode, but it also decreases your defense by 100%. This can be a dangerous Evility to have, but it’s a bit of a gamble because of the attack increase.
