The main character of Disgaea 2. He’s a straight forward, hard boiled guy. He generally only fights to protect something, but he has so much fun fighting, everyone thinks he’s a battle maniac. Currently, he is living harmoniously with Rozalin.
In order to unlock Adell as a playable unit, you need to complete all maps in the DLC episode titled C. Tournament. Adell is an amazing character and definitely one of the better DLC characters in the game. First and foremost, you should always be using a fist with Adell, as he has high ATK/SPD aptitudes and stats. Also, his unique Evility makes him using a fist/unique skill twice in a row, although you won’t be able to use every single skill with this. With that and his Overload, Adell is something of a boss killer, as he can get behind an enemy, and use Vulcan Blaze at least twice. The only problem with Adell is that he actually doesn’t talk, so the noises he makes during combat can be a bit annoying.
Adell’s Overload is called Ameretat’s Bravery, and it will boost his attacking power by 200% and increases his Move to 32 for one turn. Needless to say, this can be a great Overload, as it allows him to deal a lot of damage and pretty much reach just about anywhere on a map. Coupled with his unique Evility, Adell can be a very efficient boss killer.
Adell’s unique Evility is called Indomitable Fist and it makes it so when he uses a fist of unique skill, he will use that same skill again. The only problem that arises is if he uses a skill the moves his character or the enemy. This is an amazing Evility, though, since it essentially allows you to attack twice and when paired with other Evilities that do the same thing, you can put out a lot of damage. Note that you don’t need to use a fist in order to use Adell’s unique skills, so you can equip another weapon type.
While his unique Evility is great, his common ones are not so great. Bend Then Break will allow the unit to parry whenever a fist is equipped. This just seems to mean that you will take a little less damage with this Evility and fist equipped. Hard Boiled Man increases the fire damage dealt by 20%, while decreasing the fire damage you receive by 20%. Note that all of Adell’s unique specials are fire-based. Bonds of Love increases Adell’s attack by 3% whenever Rozalin is within 50 panels, so pretty much on the map. This is nice for some extra damage, but it’s only 3% and it costs 4 slots, plus you need to use Rozalin to get the boost.
Adell, at the time of Disgaea 5, is the youngest main character in the series, despite looking older than a few of the other main characters.
He is one of eight characters that has appeared as a playable unit in every installment of the Disgaea main series, either as DLC or as a hidden character.
There are three major areas in the Disgaea universe, Celestia, which is home to the angels, the Human World, and the Netherworlds. The Netherworlds are split up into a bunch of different ones, each governed by an Overlord, who has their own set of rules. Those very same Netherworlds are now in danger of being destroyed or taken over by an evil army known as The Lost, who is being led Void Dark. However, a ray of hope appears in the form of Killia, who seems to have a deep grudge against Void Dark. Can he really go through the rumored 10 billion Lost soldiers and exact his revenge against Void?
