Nisa

By
Jarrod Garripoli
Portrait Description
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance Screenshot The personification of Nippon Ichi Software. She works hard every day to become a hot-blooded, strong, and brave hero. She’ll help anyone in trouble, no matter if they’re human or demon. But, she is bothered by how flat she is. If you point it out, she’ll beat you up.

Battle

NISA is automatically added to your team as soon as you purchase her and use the DLC NPC to claim her. NISA is a bit of a mixed bag, as on the surface, she doesn’t seem like she has much of anything going for her. Her unique Evility basically makes it so that the longer you play the game, the more of a stat boost you get. However, to get the full benefit of this Evility, you will likely need to idle the game for a long time. Outside of that, her one skill, V Extreme, is nice as it has a pretty good damage rating. You can either use a gun or a sword with NISA, as she is more geared towards those.

Evilities

NISA’s unique Evility is called Nippon Ichi and increases her stats by every 10 hours played x1%. That means to get to the most out of it, the maximum 100%, you need to have played 1,000+ hours of Disgaea 5. That is definitely a lot and should you get to this point, it frees up a lot of slots for other Evilities. Unfortunately, you could probably do everything in the game a few times over by that point. However, more sane playtime hours could mean you might substitute other stat-increasing Evilities with something else.

Dangerous Revival gives the unit with this some stats, based on the percentage of HP healed by anything that heals HP. Once you get to the point where you have stats from other Evilities, this becomes a little more useless. Absolute Justice makes it so the unit with this will heal and have their stats increased by 30% whenever they go below 25% HP, but this only happens once per map. Belated Hero will increase the stats of the unit by 100%, if they are the very last unit you can use for that map. This has some potential, since you could send a bunch of weaker units out as sacrifices until there is only one left.

Evility Slots Effect Req
Nippon Ichi Unique Increases stats by every 10 hours played x1% Default
Dangerous Revival 4 When unit recovers HP, increases stats by percentage of HP healed 500 Mana
Absolute Justice 3 Once, when HP is under 25%, heal HP and increases stats by 30% for three turns 5000 Mana
Belated Hero 3 If unit becomes the very last unit of a force, increases stats by 100% 30000 Mana

Trivia

  • NISA originally appeared in the Neptunia series, but due to a falling out between NIS and Compile Heart, they cut ties with one another and she was separated from that series.
