Female corpses that were revived by the miasma of the Netherworlds. It all started when a Nether Noble saw one living a free and easy life and couldn’t bear it, so he taught her chores. Their brains are rotten, so they do poor work. Nonetheless, many find them to be charming.
The Maid is a class that is available from the beginning and can be one of the most useful classes in the game. She has a mastery over items, with some very important skills that are extremely beneficial to battles. Outside of the above, she’s a pretty average unit that doesn’t really excel in any stats, nor does she really specialize in any weapons. She does have over 100% in all of her aptitudes, so she’s not going to falter with getting stats from equipment at all. Should you want to use her in combat, then she is decent with Swords, Spears, Bows and Staves.
Her unique Evility, Efficient Work, basically lets her use two items during a single turn (or use an item after doing something else). With some of her other Evilities, she can use items on more than one character and from farther away, too. The Maid also has some wonderful skills, the first of which (Trick Light) can raise the power of a skill. It’s her second unique skill, Afternoon Tea, that is extremely useful during the game. This one allows her to essentially make a unit that has done their action for their turn, act again.
The Maid’s unique Evility, Efficient Work, allows her to use an item after already taking an action during her turn. If you use an item on her first turn, then she can essentially use two items each time her turn comes up. While her aptitudes are pretty decent across the board and she has decent weapon masteries for a few weapons, you can do a few things with a Maid. However, her unique spells kind of make her a support unit overall. Since items are her thing, you can definitely equip her with Cannon for an Arm and Licensed Caretaker to increase the range of the items. Relaxing Tea is nice to have, too, especially if you are useful a lot of high-SP skills on a unit.
