No Rest for the Wicked

Repairing Gear And Weapons

By
Echo Apsey

One aspect of No Rest For The Wicked that might come as a surprise early on is the need to repair your gear and weapons often, in-between battles, after extended adventures, and when you have slain dozens of creatures. Tucked away in the inventory is a small durability meter for each piece of gear and every hit you make and death you take will slowly dwindle it.

Therefore, it is key you repair your gear often and keep the meter full where you can. This guide will touch on how you can do this early on, and once you reach Sacrament, the game’s hub.

Fillmore Location

Gear and weapons can be repaired by Fillmore in the Mess Hall or in Sacrament. After visiting Sacrament, Fillmore will be located on the eastern edge, from the fast travel point.

Fillmore is unmissable when he is in the Mess Hall as you need to visit it to be able to progress forward.

Gear will cost money to repair each time you need to re-up the durability. However, Moon Studios is currently making a lot of changes to durability, including making it significantly less punishing. So, the amount you have to repair weapons and gear will vary as tweaks are made during early access.

Even so, you will still need to repair your gear every once in a while, so be sure to search out enemies across the map and sell items and weapons you don’t want to get the money to repair your gear. Otherwise, you will be left defenseless against the many tough enemies lurking throughout the world.

The rarer your gear, the higher the price you may have to pay too, but as you progress to tougher areas with harder enemies, you should start to rack up money a little quicker.
