Stroll n’ Patrol missions are little side quests in Like A Dragon Gaiden, as part of the Akame Network. They are usually very short missions that either ask you to find an item, fight some enemies, or do other things, like photographing a specific object. How ’Bout Them Kappas will ask you to find a Kappa. While this might seem like a “needle in a haystack” type of quest, the Kappa is actually found very close to the person who gives you the mission. It will be found right across from him, on the other side of the river.
Where to Find the Kappa in Like A Dragon Gaiden¶
In Chapter 3, you can find a man along the northern side of the river, on the footpath there, with a Stroll n’ Patrol mission. He got some advice on revitalizing Sotenbori from a fella in Ijincho. The guy’s idea was to initiate a kappa search, so he wants you to look for a Kappa. You may be thinking that the Kappa is quite hard to find, as Sotenbori is quite large, but it’s actually pretty easy to locate.
For the Kappa here, you will want to head on over to the other side of the river, to the Sotenbori Footpath. At around the middle of the footpath, you should see some planters and standing in one of those will be a Kappa statue. You don’t need to take a picture or anything of it, so just walk up to it and then return to the person who gave you the mission. Speak to him one more time and you will complete it, with your reward being 1,000 Akame Points and ¥40,000.
