Early on in your playthrough of Like A Dragon Gaiden, you will unlock the Akame Network. Part of that will be little fetch quests called Stroll n’ Patrol missions. These will usually require you to retrieve an item, fight some enemies, or even take a picture. One of these little side missions will ask you to obtain some Okonomiyaki, which might be a little confusing to find. The Okonomiyaki is only purchasable from one place, named Hiratai.

Where to Find the Hiratai Restaurant for Okonomiyaki¶

You will be able to find the Stroll n’ Patrol that asks for this relatively early on in the game. Whenever you look at your map, you will see the white exclamation points, which signal one of these little quests. For the particular one that asks you for an Okonomiyaki, head to the Shofukucho area of the map, which is just northwest of Ashitaba Park (the one with the homeless NPCs). The NPC is on the southern side, right about in the middle, and the name of the quest is called When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki!?“

You may visit a bunch of food places in search of the Okonomiyaki, but most of them will turn up nothing. That’s because it’s only sold at a single restaurant, called Hiratai. If you look at your map, you will see a search function in the button layout at the bottom. Press that button to bring up a list, then highlight Hiratai and confirm the location on the Sotenbori Footpath. From either of the two bridges that extend over the river, go down the stairs to get on the footpath. The Okonomiyaki isn’t even that expensive and is actually a food item you can use in battles.

This is important to remember, especially during tougher battles, as you can just spam food to refill your health. Once you have bought an Okonomiyaki, bring it back to the person asking for it to finish that quest.
