The Like A Dragon series has featured the Amon Clan in a lot of its games, with Like A Dragon Gaiden having two different Amons for you to fight. Tetsu Amon is the penultimate boss fight of the game and will be fought upon you basically completing everything around the Coliseum. However, this isn’t a one-on-one battle, as it will actually be a Hell Team Rumble one. This page will offer strategies for the Tetsu Amon boss fight in the game.
How to Beat Tetsu Amon¶
First and foremost, the battle against Tetsu Amon is a Hell Team Rumble, so you will need to have a strong party for it. You will want all of your team at level 20 (the max), as well as a bond level of 3 (the max there). Ideally, you will want two healers for this battle, with Higashi and KATSUWO being the two best ones, as they can heal the entire team with their special. You will also want two defenders in the team, with Kaito and Super Guard Machine being great candidates. The former’s special will increase everyone’s defense, while the latter just has high health and defense.
The rest of your team will be comprised of attackers. First up is Fumiya Sugiura, as well as Sheep Man and Chicken Man. These characters are all strong and have fantastic specials, so they are worthy of being added. Keita Kuroyanagi is another great character, due to his special. For rounding out the last two characters, you can place Yappi-kun and Gary Buster Holmes. In addition to maxing everyone out, you will also want to probably max out Kiryu’s attack and health.
Going into the battle, you will have Tetsu Amon and ten other robots. Every enemy in this fight is quite tough, so you will be taking some good damage here. In fact, the lesser robots do have ultimate attacks, so make sure you gear up to use the Ultimate Counter. You do have two options here, though, one of which is to stick with the normal robots and try to defeat them all with the help of your team. Of course, the biggest problem here will be the timer.
If you go after Tetsu Amon, note that he has an insane amount of health, more than just about any other enemy in the game. This is in addition to things like a laser (similar to JUSTICE), so be on the lookout for that. He also has a rocket launcher, which is another high-damaging attack. His super special seems to be the machine gun, which is something your Chicken Man and Keita NPCs have access to. This is a powerful attack that can hit multiple characters, so if you see it, avoid it at all costs.
There’s really not too much left to talk about for this battle, as you shouldn’t really be dying unless you just soak up all of the damage. Some of your characters might be KO’ed, though, but don’t be surprised if it happens. Once you do manage to win the battle, you will move on to the final challenge of the game, Gai Amon.
