Shadow of the Erdtree is the first major DLC for Elden Ring and with that comes many items, equipment and secrets. Smithscript Weapons are one of the new weapon types you can find out in the Realm of Shadow and on this page, we’ll provide you with the locations of all six weapons.

Every Smithscript Weapon¶

There are six smithscript weapons that can be found scattered in various dungeons around the Realm of Shadows.

Smithscript Dagger Location¶

The Smithscript Dagger can be found in the Ruined Forge Lava Intake Dungeon which is located within the Gravesite Plain Region. It can be reached by heading south of the Castle Front Site of Grace. Once you’ve arrived, follow the path around until you climb down a ladder, then head through the doorway to the west to find the weapon at the end of the path. This weapon comes with the exclusive skill Piercing Throw which allows you to throw armaments with a powerful spin, causing it to bore through foes

Smithscript Spear Location¶

The Smithscript Spear can be found in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past Dungeon which can be reached by heading southwest from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in the Scadu Altus Region. Once you’ve arrived, you can find the weapon sitting on a corpse on the opposite side of the first open room. This weapon comes with the exclusive skill Impaling Thrust which allows you to pierce armaments to and overcome enemy shields.

Smithscript Cirque Location¶

The Smithscript Spear can also be found in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past Dungeon. Once you arrive, follow the dungeon around until you have to go through a second main gate, then the weapon can be found on a corpse at the end of the path. This weapon comes with the exclusive skill Blind Spot which allows you to leap into close quarters to take advantage of the enemy’s blind spot and gore them from the side.

Smithscript Axe Location¶

The Smithscript Axe can be found in the Taylew’s Ruined Forge which can be reached by heading north from the Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace. Once you arrive, follow the path around and jump across the gap, then you can find the weapon on a corpse in the room on the left. This weapon comes with the exclusive skill Wild Strikes which allows you to swing the armament.

Smithscript Greathammer Location¶

The Smithscript Greathammer can also be found in Taylew’s Ruined Forge. Once you arrive, follow the path around and drop down into the gap, then head over to the platform on the opposite side to find the greathammer in the corner. This weapon comes with the exclusive skill Endure which allows you to decrease incoming damage.

Smithscript Shield Location¶

The Smithscript Shield is another weapon that can be found in Taylew’s Ruined Forge. From the location of the previous weapon head up the pillar and proceed into the room on the right, then make your way up the ramp to find the weapon at the end of the path. This weapon comes with the exclusive skill Discus Hurl which allows you to throw the shield like a discus.
