Shadow of the Erdtree is the first major DLC for Elden Ring and with that comes many items, equipment and secrets. Bloodfiend’s Arm is a new Colossal Weapon which can be found in a little settlement called Prospect Town. On this page, we’ll provide you with the necessary steps to farm it.
Finding the Bloodfiend’s Arm¶
As mentioned above, the Bloodfiend’s Arm can be dropped by Bloodfiend enemies which are typically found within Prospect Town. You can reach this area by starting at the Main Gate Cross site of grace which is located to the northwest of the Scorched Ruins, then you’ll want to make your way over to the southwest and follow the Cliffside path until you come across the Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace. Head a bit further south to reach Prospect Town, then you’ll want to jump on your friendly horse and work your way up to the top of the ruins via the stairs and broken pillars.
At the top you’ll come across multiple Bloodfiend enemies which you’ll need to take care of, as one of them will have a chance of dropping the Bloodfiend’s Arm. We recommend splitting them up into groups and then make use of AoE attacks like the new Firestance from Rellana’s Twin Blades (if you’ve already taken care of her). Additionally, if you’re playing solo, then you’ll definitely want to make use of Spirit Ashes, such as the Mimic Tear and Black Knife Tiche as they’ll take some of the attention away from you.
Bloodfiend’s Arm Uses¶
Shadow of the Erdtree is a lot tougher compared to the base game, so having a weapon like the Bloodfiend’s Arm is a must if you want a bit of an easier time. It has an ability to inflict bleed damage on every enemy when you use a heavy attack that will massively increase your damage output.
