Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree offers a massive new region, the Realm of Shadow, and with it comes a whole new host of beasties that want to put the Tarnished down. Your stats from the Lands Between won’t be enough to survive, so you’ll need to seek out Scadutree and Revered Spirit Ash Blessings to give you a chance. Keep reading to learn more about these new items and what kind of stat increases you can expect.

Scadutree Blessings¶

The first, and perhaps the most important item, are the Scadutree Fragments. These are marked on the field as the same glowing, rare item indicator that you’re used to from the Lands Between, making them as easy to locate. You’ll find the first Scadutree Fragment near the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace, on the way to the first Legacy Dungeon, Belurat Tower Settlement.

After pocketing it, head to a Site of Grace and select the Shadow Realm Blessing option, where you’ll find both the Scadutree and Revered Spirit Ash options available to you. You may see a number in brackets next to each option, this indicates what level each is at, and after using each one, you’ll need more blessings for each upgrade (so two Scadutree Blessings for the second upgrade).

When you receive a Scadutree Blessing, all of your Attack Power stats will get a damage multiplier, along with your Damage Negating stats. These only apply to your Tarnished while in the Realm of Shadow, any blessings are lost in the Lands Between (but return when you go back to the Realm of Shadow). If you want to take a look at how those stats have been affected, go to your Status in the menu and you’ll see some numbers in yellow, these are the stats enhanced with the Scadutree Blessings.

Revered Spirit Ash Blessings¶

This is the second of two Shadow Realm blessings you can get in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. If you cast your mind back to your journey through the Lands Between, you’ll remember the Spirit Ashes you found and used, acting like offline companions, some of which were very powerful.

Well, much like the Tarnished, they will also need to boost to their stats if they wish to be of more use to you. What’s more, your Spectral Steed will also get better damage negation as you increase this stat. Much like the Scudatree Fragments, you’ll be able to find Revered Spirit Ash while you traverse the Realm of Shadow and, when used at a Site of Grace, will provide the necessary boon.
