Best Lightsaber Perks in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Fortitude | Increases lightsaber damage, but increases all incoming damage too. (Think Glass Cannon) | 4 | After defeating the Vile Bilemaw in the Fogged Expanse region of Koboh. The lair is near the cliff, where you can find all the roller bomb droids. Drop down near the cliff and look for a ledge that leads to a lair. |
Our approach here is that the Fortitude perk is the best perk in Star Wars Jed Survivor for this stance. The reason why is because the Light Saber is the most generic one, having the most average range, speed, damage and defense in the game. So, you can opt to specialize it to one particular force move you like for it, or, you can just go generic damage improvement, and not feel the negatives of this perk thanks to some very good defense, range, and speed stats.
Alternatively, you can opt for perks like these instead.
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Shatter | Attacks are more effective at breaking an enemies guard | 2 | Inside Soddon Grotto (Koboh), which is located to the east of Rambler’s Ranch, near the rumor location for the missing Prospectors. |
Precision | Lowers the time you can parry an opponent’s attack, but, greatly increases the stamina bar drain on the parried enemy. | 2 | Stone Spires on Koboh. You will naturally visit this location halfway through the Research Tanalorr on Koboh mission. When you reach the third puzzle, you must melt some vines to solve the platforming puzzle. You can also destroy some more vines on the back wall and then a secret cove to acquire this perk using the Koboh Grinder for BD-1. |
These skills will offer better protection against destroying bosses, or the more sturdy battle droids that the Imperials and Raiders share. Or the more advanced melee units like the Purge Troopers.
Best Dual Wield Perks in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Dexterity | Lightsaber-throwing skills deal more damage. | 2 | Found inside the Chamber of Reason on Koboh. This is a Rumour location you get from Tou near Basalt Forest. |
Shatter | Attacks are more effective at breaking an enemies guard | 2 | Inside Soddon Grotto (Koboh), which is located to the east of Rambler’s Ranch, near the rumor location for the missing Prospectors. |
When you have four perk slots, you can take both of these level 2 costing perks. The idea behind this playstyle is that you can use your very fast tracks and flurry of attacks to deal lots of minor damage very fast, which will wrack up easily against an enemy hp bar or stamina meter. Due to the lots of very fast attacks, you can easily diminish a stamina bar, especially if you manage to get the extended Special spin attack off or use the extended light attack combo for an even bigger flurry attack.
Also, one of the benefits of the Dual Wield is that the later game skills allow you to throw both lightsabers at a target. Landing both lightsabers can easily burst a more elite enemy type, which makes killing those harder-to-beat enemies much easier for a relatively small amount of force-spent-to-damage ratio.
Best Double-Bladed Perks in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
The Double Bladed Light Saber is a very good AOE weapon, with weaker damage, but solid speed and group encounter destruction. The most ideal situation is to use your skills like the Rising Storm to en-masse nearby enemies below you, ready for some of your spinny ape attacks.
So, to really support that rash destruction playstyle, especially on enemies that are more senior than the basic Battle Droids or feeble-minded Stormtroopers, you will want more damage to burst them. This is why these are the best Star Wars Jedi Survivor Perks for the Double-Bladed Lightsaber.
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Equilibrium | Using a force power increases the damage of your next lightsaber attack | 3 | Zee (vendor in the Pyloon Saloon) |
Resilience | Increase your maximum block meter value | 1 | Inside the Chamber of Duality (Koboh). This is where you meet Zee in the main story. You then get Zee as a trader to buy perks from her using Data Disks. |
Best Blaster Perks in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Ambidexterity | Shoot enemies with your Blaster in Blaster Stance to increase the damage you deal with the lightsaber in this stance. | 3 | Hidden in a small, hidden area in the Stone Spires region of Koboh. Use the bird at the Great Courtyard, and look for the Force tear on one of the ledges. Below that is another area you can take another bird, and then use the mining lazer to clear a path of the Koboh vines and dust to get this perk. |
Unflinching Perk | Allows you to take one hit without being interrupted while Charging a heavy shot in Blaster Stance | 1 | Near the Golden Skriton legendary creature lair, which is in the Desert Ridge region near the Anchorite base on Jedha. |
The general idea behind this playstyle is that the player will run out of ammo more often in fights, meaning you will need to use your lightsaber to get ammo back. So, when you spend ammo, you increase your lightsaber damage, this will make your bossing easier in this stance, along with mopping up lower HP enemies with your lightsaber. It also lets you weave your bullets into a lightsaber and play a hybrid range and melee playstyle much easier.
Then, you tale Unflinching, which allows you a free hit with your blaster, which is handy in case you do get and then chain combo’d by your electric staff-wielding trooper, or magma droids get a grip of you.
- Honorable mention: Marksman Perk: This allows you to increase your blaster damage, so, if you like sniping more elite units, like the orange shoulder guard stormtroopers, or picking off annoying droids for BD to hack later on in the story, this will work better for that strategy.
Best Crossguard Perks in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Equilibrium | Using a force power increases the damage of your next lightsaber attack | 3 | Zee (vendor in the Pyloon Saloon) |
Flux | Regenerate a small amount of Force over time, but max force is reduced. | 1 | Zee (vendor in the Pyloon Saloon) |
The playstyle that the Crossguard offers is a very, slow, paced, yet tanky playstyle, with lots of burst damage on their slower, yet heavier swings. In addition, this playstyle comes with the highest defense stance in the game. So, you don’t need to really buff the playstyle all too much.
However, what you will notice is that the Crossguard’s aerial special move sends forth a very strong stamina-destroying blast wave, and the held basic attack also deals high damage and stamina destruction. So, the Equilibrium perk is generally really good for nuking stamina, and an enemy’s HP bar, especially when you use Force.
Also, if you like this high-force spending stamina nuking playstyle, you can take Flux. This will allow you to regenerate your Force meter over time, which is handy for returning to the Crossguard to nuke stamina on a boss or another very strong melee character for those very exposed moments.
- Honorable Mentions: If you prefer a build that is more upfront with the damage you deal with, you can use these perks instead. This makes you a proper monster when it comes to utilizing that high defense, and calculating your parry windows to destroy someone’s guard and then destroy their health bar. Again, the Crossguard is all about proper timings thanks to its slow attacks, so, the high defense allows you to time those retaliation windows, hence why these perks work just as well.

Shatter | Attacks are more effective at breaking an enemies guard | 2 | Inside Soddon Grotto (Koboh), which is located to the east of Rambler’s Ranch, near the rumor location for the missing Prospectors. |

Best Perks for Harder Difficulties¶
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Centered | Stagger enemies around you while you’re healing. It also allows you to take an additional hit and not be interrupted. | 2 | Beat the main story-related boss on the moon to earn this award. |
Persistence | Each enemy you kill while Slow Time is active (special power) replenishes a very small amount of HP. | 2 | Awarded by completing the Chamber of Fortitude (Koboh) located in the Southern Reach. You will need access to the Force Lift spell, which you get after the Lucrehulk mission. Look for a building with a dome you can lift to access this location. |
The general purpose of this perk setup is to offer the player better sustain during the harder encounters of the game. Taking these perks will offer better health regeneration, you’re going to need it if you take even the slightest hit. Take too many hits in a sequence between the meditation spots to rest, and you may actually straight up die. You won’t need these on lower difficulties, but on the max difficulty, these perks will come in handy when you’re trying new encounters out and want some safety and reassurance until you learn attack patterns, allowing you to swap back to preferred weapon stance perks rather than use these.

---|---|---|---|
Fellowship | Allows BD-1 to carry an extra Stim charge | 4 | Earned by clearing the Chamber of Clarity in Koboh’s in the Untamed Downs, ear the Fort Kah’lin raider base. |
This is very good if you need the extra stim and you’re struggling in the main story progression, especially on more gauntlet areas of the mission after you’ve done the research Tanalorr sessions of the map. It’s also very good if you missed some of the early game stim upgrade locations, like the ones on Coruscant and Basalt Forest on Koboh.
Best Jedi Survivor Perks for Force Skills¶
If you want to be more of a mage character, utilizing those Jedi mind tricks to your advantage, then you may consider buffing your confusion spells.
Jedi Survivor Perk | Description | Slots | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Perplexity | Increases the damage dealt by enemies under the effect of confusion force spells. | 2 | Ride the elevator after the main story mission boss fight in the Mountain Observatory on Koboh. |
Due to the limited nature of pure force upgrades, and Perplexity being a two-cost, you are sort of forced to take Persistence as the second. It should make you tankier in close range, while also allowing your mind-controlled target to do more damage and take more enemies out.
This concludes the best perks in star wars Jedi Survivor. Hopefully, you now have a few build ideas in mind for those stances you like to use. If there’s a particular combo you like to use, then feel free to let us know in the comments.
