Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of those games that will reel you back into the franchise even if you’re feeling a little fatigued from all of the new shows, films, and more that always seem to be releasing. But, if you’re still on the fence, you’ll likely not want to shell out the cost of a newly released game.
This is where subscription services come in, and since Jedi: Survivor is published by EA, many are wondering if the game is on the popular EA Play platform, essentially being able to download it for free.
Below, we’ll reveal all on if Jedi: Survivor has made it to EA Play so you know if you need to break the wallet out or not.
Is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on EA Play?¶
So, the all-important question, can you use EA Play to get your hands on Jedi: Survivor and avoid paying the full price for this highly anticipated sequel. Well, the answer is a little complex.
As of right now, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not on the base EA Play subscription service. This means that you will not be able to secure it for ‘free’ and instead will have to wait. What this also means is that if you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you also won’t be able to benefit from this since EA Play is bundled in with that cost.
However, although we’ve given you a simple no answer, this is where things get interesting. You can actually get Jedi: Survivor if you’re an EA Play Pro member, which is the second tier of the service. So, basically, if you want to up your service for that extra cost, you can actually play the game on here from launch.
This opens up a nice avenue to save a bit of cash since a month’s subscription to EA Play Pro will only set you back £14.99, a small figure in comparison to the game’s full price. So, if you’re a PC player, you can essentially get Jedi: Survivor at a much discounted price simply by either upping your subscription, or purchasing this Pro tier for the first time.
