The only real way to precisely check a Pokémon’s IVs is by using an online IV calculator. Make sure to choose one that supports Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee, as some Pokémon species may have different stats in other games. Also, since the effect of IVs scales with Level, it’s easier to narrow down the IVs if your Pokémon is higher Level.
Judge Function¶
If that seems a bit excessive, there is a way to check a Pokémon’s IV range in-game. Most of the time, you don’t really need to know a Pokémon’s exact IVs, so this feature will probably be enough. First, you need to record at least 30 Pokémon in your Pokédex. Afterwards, speak to Professor Oak’s aide in the gate building between Routes 11 and 12. He’ll activate the Judge function.
Now, when you open a Pokémon’s summary screen, you can press the Y button to open the Judge display. This will bring up a hexagonal chart like the one you usually see, but it will be solely based on your Pokémon’s IVs instead. The closer the blue shape is to the edge, the better the IVs. The statements around the edges also indicates the quality of the IVs.
