Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! & Let's Go, Eevee!

Partner Powers

By
Vincent Lau

(1 of 2) Before

Before (left), After (right)

These are extra-special moves that only your partner "Pikachu" IconPikachu or "Eevee" IconEevee can perform. Occasionally, you may notice an icon of Pikachu or Eevee hugging a Joy-Con above the “Fight” button. When this icon appears, you can shake the Joy-Con or Poké Ball Plus to trigger a Partner Power. If playing in Handheld mode, this isn’t possible.

A Partner Power functions the same as a normal move. So it’s essentially a 5th move for your partner. It can also be used when your partner isn’t currently in battle. The chance of a Partner Power being available is random, but you can increase it by playing with your partner and increasing their Happiness.

Pikachu

Move Type Category Description
Pika Power Pathfinder: Kingmaker Screenshot Special Damage scales with your partner’s Happiness. Never misses.

Eevee

Move Type Category Description
Veevee Volley Pathfinder: Kingmaker Screenshot Physical Damage scales with your partner’s Happiness. Never misses.

Both

If you trigger a Partner Power when your partner isn’t in battle, your current Pokémon’s stats will all increase by 1 stage.
