Most of the trophies and achievements in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii are simple and will unlock during natural play, as long as you play through the game’s many systems. However, there are some that might be a little more confusing, especially if you’ve played previous games in the series and think it’s related to something else. The My Dream Minator Girl trophy/achievement falls under the second category, as one might think it’s related to some kind of hostess thing, but it’s not.
The Minato Girls set of Substories definitely feels like it belongs in a Like a Dragon game.
Unlocking My Dream Minato Girl Trophy/Achievement¶
To put it simply, the My Dream Minato Girl trophy/achievement is something you don’t have to worry too much about, as it’s all Substory related. As you make your way through the main story, you will sometimes be forced to travel on foot to the next objective, which almost always indicates that a cutscene will occur on the way there and unlock something non-story related. During Chapter 3, this is the case, as there will be a cutscene where Majima finds a journal for Masaru, talking about his dream of meeting a Minato girl.
This will trigger an event for you to go visit the Revolve bar, so head on over there for another scene and the start of a chain of Substories. Basically, there will be five total Substories you have to do, which aren’t all too difficult and are fairly short, where you meet one of the five woman to get her to come to a party. Most of these Substories just involve some talking and fighting, although one does have you doing a race for Dragon Kart. After finishing all of the Substories here, there will be one more, where you throw a party for your friend and crewmate.

The final Substory in this chain can be quite long, too, so make sure you set some time aside to do it. Once everything is said and done, you will have completed all of it and unlock the trophy/achievement. You will also get Kaho, Misoshi, Ena, Ai, and Seiko to join your crew, who are worthy additions, due to having high base stats and a max level of 40. You also get Machiko-san to join your crew, although she’s not quite as useful as the other women.
