The equipment system in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a little different than usual. Instead of putting on pieces of gear, you will be able to equip Rings to your fingers for extra stats. You can have up to ten rings equipped to Majima, although some rings are exclusive to specific fingers. There are rings that can only be equipped to your thumbs, some others only equippable to your little finger, and then the rest of your fingers (middle fingers).
Rings are your equipment in Pirate Yakuza, which can boost your stats and resistances.
There are a few ways to get rings in Pirate Yakuza. One way is to simply buy them, as a lot of the clothing shops will offer them throughout Hawaii. These should be sparingly bought, though, as money is more important for other things, plus the rings can be quite expensive early in the game. You will also be able to get some as rewards from minigames, Substories, and even as part of the story. All of the treasure chests you will open will sometimes have rings in them, too, so it’s good to go after them all.

Ring of Candescence Location¶
Head on over to West Waikiki, which is in the eastern half of Honolulu, for this ring. If you have the Kaku Ave taxi spot, fast travel to that, then go southwest to the L&L Hawaiian Barbecue food truck. If you look just west of that food truck, you can spot a hook spot on the overhang of the building with the large glass windows. Shoot up to the roof with your Chain Hook to nab the treasure chest and ring.

Ring of Leaves Location¶
You’ll be going to the southwestern corner of the western half of Honolulu for this one. Specifically, you want the Pier taxi spot at Shipper’s Wharf, so fast travel to it if you have it (a little southwest of the Ounabara Vocational School). As soon as you can control Majima after travelling, look on top of the large overhang just south of you. The treasure chest is on the northern end, but the hook to get you to the roof is a little bit south.
Ring of Gaia Location¶
Rich Island is where you’ll be going to get this ring. Once you’ve arrived, go on over to Stella’s Shop in the Residential District. You should see a tower right next to the shop and if you look up, you will notice a hook for your Chain Hook tool. Latch onto it and you’ll be brought right in front of the chest with this ring.

Ring of Stone Location¶
Head to Madlantis and go over to where the Bang Bang Batting Center is located. Specifically, you’ll want to go to the little walkway above the Batting Center, so use the nearby stairs to get to that spot. Right behind there is a hook you can latch onto with the Chain Hook, which brings you to the chest with this ring in it.
