The Photo Rally minigame has returned in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, with it unlocking automatically in Chapter 2 of the main story. It plays out the same way as it did in Infinite Wealth, as you need to go to specific locations to photograph certain landmarks/objects. You’ll know you’re in the correct spot, as the item in question will have a camera symbol above it. You can use the camera by pressing up on the directional pad, then get the object in frame and snap the picture when the camera icon turns green.
There are only eight photos for you to take on Rich Island.
All Rich Island Photo Rally Locations¶
Unlike the other areas in the game, you will only find a total of eight Photos for Rich Island, all of which are available as soon as you unlock this minigame. Your reward for completing this Photo Rally will be the Eyepatch and Glasses customization item for Majima.
Rich Island Photo Rally Location #1¶
The first photo on this list can be a little difficult to find, as there aren’t really any noticeable landmarks for it. You will find this location in the Central Plaza area, not too far from the Esperanza bar. There are some containers stacked on top of one another in the middle of the Central Plaza, which is where you want to be. On the southern side, if you look to the south, you should see some tables, as well as a pink flamingo. That flamingo is what you need to take a picture of for this entry.

Also in the Central Plaza area, there is the bar that Jason owns, which features prominently in the opening segments of the main story. On a pole, just outside of the bar, is a sign that features its name on it. You just need to take a picture of that sign.

In the Central Plaza, there are a series of containers in the middle of the area, stacked on top of one another. On top of these containers is a statue, which is likely some mascot for a taco restaurant. You will need to take a photo of the statue, but it will need to be done from the northern side.

Head on over to the Residential District for the fourth photo on the list. Specifically, you want to go to Stella’s Shop, on the western side. In front of her shop, there are some some bins of freshly caught fish sitting there. Take a picture of those bins to complete this entry.

Rich Island Photo Rally Location #5¶
The fifth photo on the in-game list is located inside of the Esperanza bar that Jason runs on the island. It’s not hard to find, since it’s marked on your map, but it’s in the Central Plaza area of the island. Go inside once you’re there and look for the figurehead on the pole by the front counter.

Rich Island Photo Rally Location #6¶
This one is in the same area as Stella’s Shop, but it will be on the southern side of it. Go to the southwestern end of that little area, then look towards the building on the southern side, towards the east. This will be a bluish-green building and there is some graffiti of a bunny on the back of it. You will need to take a picture of that bunny graffiti.
(1 of 2) The sixth photo is also by Stella’s Shop, but it’ll be to the south of it.

The seventh entry on the list mentions the Residential District, with the hint saying it’s a shop with all sorts of things. Head on over to the General Store, the other shop on the island, where you should see a bunch of bananas hanging in front of it. Take a picture of that area.

Rich Island Photo Rally Location #8¶
The last photo on the in-game list will be on the beach area of Rich Island, not far from where you first washed up at the beginning of the game. In the beach area, there is a cooking station, which is where you’ll find the necessary photo. In the little alcove behind the cooking station, look for a rock that has some graffiti on it. Of course, you can also look for the camera icon.

Remember that after getting all of the entries in the Photo Rally, you have to return to Alo-Happy and report that you’re done, in order to get your prize.
