This quest can be acquired from the Old Whore at the Inn in the Glade. She claims that a man who is now drinking at the tavern did not pay her after using her services. She therefore requests that you pickpocket the money from him. This will be near impossible during thie day while he is surrounded by fellow patrons. You should wait until nightfall to find him while he is walking home alone. The villager usually begins to walk home, heading west, around 23:00. You can then knock him out and loot the Groschen to ensure that he does not catch you.
When you return to the Old Whore she will have another task for you. This time you must steal a woollen shawl which she claims once belonged to her.
Once you have the shawl, go back to the Inn in the Glade and wait until the morning. You can then speak with the Old Whore to begin the next phase of the quest. This time she tells you something of her story, or at least the way that she wants to present it, and requests that you steal an ornamental dagger from her ex husband. The farm where he lives is south east of the Inn in the Glade. You can steal the dagger at any time during the day providing that you catch him alone and keep the dogs quiet with an Aesop potion.
When you return to the Old Whore she will ask you for one more favour; to steal the key to a chest from her ex-husband’s current wife. You should note that the woman has three keys in her inventory, so you will have to choose the correct one or steal all three if you wish. With the correct key in your inventory, return to the Old Whore to complete the quest.
