Kingdom Come: Deliverance

If You Can't Beat 'em

By
Scott Peers

Sir Radzig has instructed you to return to Sasau in order to find out more about the bandit recruiters who operate there. There are three primary locals who might know something; the Bailiff, the innkeeper at the Tavern on the Green and the innkeeper at the Wagoner’s Inn.

The Bailiff provides you with two leads; Miller Simon and the local tanner.

Both innkeepers will provide you with the same lead; the local knacker.

Speaking with the local knacker will reveal a number of odd things that have been sighted in Sasau lately. He mentions that there is a man with a broken leg in the monastery who might know more, but you will have to heal him before he can talk. To speak with Miller Simon you will need to have earned the respect of Miller Peshek and Miller Woyzeck. Alternatively you can speak with the tanner who has been having some trouble with local brawlers.

The tanner would like you to deal with the local brawlers. They certainly sound like the bandit type and therefore could be promising lead.

Meet with the brawlers in the evening and fight with each of them to earn their respect and cooperation.

After defeating each of the brawlers in a fist fight, their leader Punch will let you know that there are people looking for tough men in Sasau.

Go to the crimps’ meeting place in the church north east from the tanner.

Wait in the church until night falls, at which point you will be able to use the altar to trigger a cut scene.

The bandits will ask that you carry out a dangerous task for them to prove that you are serious. Remember to pick up the key pushed under the door so that you can exit the church without having to wait until dawn.

Before you attempt to enter the monastery, you should speak to Sir Radzig about what the bandits have asked you to do.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world RPG set in the last throes of the Middle Ages. The year is 1403 and the Kingdom of Bohemia is about to be plunged into turmoil. Henry, a resdient of the castle town Skalitz, is the son of a renowned blacksmith. When Skalitz is attacked, both of his parents are killed by the invading forces of Hungarian King Sigismund, led by Sir Markvart von Aulitz. Henry’s quest then becomes your own; to exact vengeance upon those who destroyed his hometown, friends and family. Along the way, Henry finds himself embroiled in the affairs of the great lords in the region. Rather than give in to the hatred fueled by the death of his boyhood, Henry decides to become a man and help in any way that he can against the ramifications of the assault on Skalitz.
