When you arrive, go north for a while and past the electric barriers; they will pop up at times to electrify you unless you carefully wait. Touching them damages you. Obviously. When you get to the lasers, simply use Circle to jump over them just as you’re about to be shot (similar to the lightning in the FFX Thunder Plains). As you approach the first circular panel, you’ll fight Azi Dahaka.

Boss Analysis: You’ve fought enemies like this already a few times so you sort of know what to expect. When not Oversouled, you will see an Attack (which also Drains HP), Bated Break (magical damage; around triple Attack’s power), and Damocles Photon (removes 50% of your maximum HP). When Oversouled, it will lose the Drain effect to the Attack, but it will also be able to Curse you (separate attack, though). It will also begin to focus attacks on single characters.
Main Strategy: Honestly, the Oversoul form is a bit easier; at least you know who to buff up, and you do lose the Drain effect from the Attack. In any case, you can always Eject this thing via whatever means you prefer.
If you prefer hand-to-hand combat to Eject, then… Okay, fine, feel free to punch it, but don’t whine when it lasers you in the rear. Open the battle with Mighty Guard; that’ll lessen most of the damage you’ll take (and the healing the boss gets in normal form). From there, you can’t do much else to set yourself up since Azi is immune to most useful ailments (other than Eject weirdly enough). Just throw out whatever offense you prefer. As usual, it was a healing White Mage and two Dark Knights with Darkness for us.
After the battle, you’ll fight Azi again further north. Press Square after the second Azi fight, then use the nearby Save Sphere .
Jump on the floating platform to the right and, when it stops, go to the lower of the nearby stones to the left. Next, go up the ledge to the left two times and go onto the middle of the circle platform to find Azi yet again. From there, it’s mostly a lot of walking and jumping along a linear path.
