Once you have completed the final memory sequence in the game, and the credits have rolled, you’ll find that there are now four red ship icons on the North Atlantic region map (alternatively, you could just capture the forts in which they are located!). There is one of these icons in each of the four corners of the map: north east, north west, south east and south west. These icons represent optional ‘boss encounters’ with legendary ships with very high ship levels, massive armour and top notch weapons.

These four naval battles are the hardest challenge you will face in the game in terms of naval combat gameplay and as such, you should level up all of the Morrigan’s weapons, storage and armour as much as possible before attempting to take down one of these monstrosities.

Rewards:

• Each of the legendary battle encounters will reward you with 20,000L upon completion.
• Complete all four battles for the Kraken Sails, wheel and Figurehead for the Morrigan.
• Complete all four battles for the Templar Master outfit.
• Complete all four of the legendary ship battles to earn the achievement/trophy ‘Master of the North Atlantic’.
