This mission is unlocked once the other 11 assassin interception tasks have been completed. The pigeon will appear in Greenwich, New York so once you have found and grabbed it, its time to go through the motions one more time. Make your way over to the green search area in the small courtyard between the buildings nearby.
As you enter the search area, a scene will play – it’s a trap! You’ll be immediately set upon by 9 assassins. This fight can be a little tricky due to the three snipers who will sit on the rooftops and take pot-shots at you whilst you are occupied. The easiest way to win? Stand your ground and hit the button prompt for ‘human shield’ when it pops up on a nearby enemy to protect yourself from sniper fire. Clear out the ground level attackers using your usual techniques.
Once you reach the search area you’ll be attacked (left). Once you kill all the ground based enemies, hide inside (right) to draw the snipers down.
When only the snipers are left, run into the small room that the leader of the assassin group emerged from in the earlier scene to break line of sight, the snipers will then drop their weapons and hop down to ground level to attack. Take them out as they come.
Once all 9 attackers have been dealt with, your objective marker will update and direct you to a glowing treasure chest nearby. Interact with this for a new outfit, an achievement/trophy and to complete the interception missions for good!
