Shay Upgrades are, according to the game’s menu weapons and outfits that can be purchased or unlocked through other in-game actions to provide Shay with passive bonuses to increase attack damage. It should be noted however, that in my opinion, Assassin’s Creed Rogue is by far the easiest title in the series to date and whilst the equipment can make things easier still, I was able to finish the game without ever touching the menu for this once. Having said that, they still do bestow bonuses and on top of that possessing interchangeable outfits and some fancy weapons are always a plus!
Below you’ll find a list of all the Sword sets, guns and outfits available in the game along with a brief description on how you can go about obtaining each.
