When you reach the Hidden Village in Wo Long, you’ll soon find out that there are “Side Quests” in the game. These aren’t your traditional side quests as they won’t appear on any menu or have any tracking whatsoever. In fact, these are in a similar fashion to the Souls series where you’ll need to keep talking to an NPC to exhaust their dialogue which will end up in a quest. This page will guide you through where you can find the Front Door Key for the Tianshu Hermit in the Hidden Village.
Speak with this woman in the Hidden Village to begin the quest.
Hermit of Tianzhu Hidden Village Front Door Key Location¶
Progress through the story until you’ve completed the main mission “The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven”, then you’ll gain access to the Hidden Village which is located at Mt. Tianzhushan. This area is the main hub of Wo Long that you can revisit throughout the game to upgrade Weapons/Armour, Respec and unlock Side Quests. In order to start this side quest you’ll want to walk down the branch to the right of the Battle Flag, then walk along the branch to the left of the Merchant to find a woman standing near a building in the corner.
Speak with her and she’ll be trying to figure out where she may have lost her front door key. Here she mentions that it could’ve been when she was climbing a mountain for training. Unfortunately, that doesn’t really help you narrow it down, so you may not know where to begin. Thankfully, we’ve done the hard work for you, so you can find the Front Door Key by following these steps. Once you’ve finished speaking, start up the next Main Mission “In Search of the Immortal Wizard”. From the first Battle Flag, run along the water until you reach a dead end, then take a right and follow a path around until you reach an open area that contains a gazebo.

Take a left and walk up onto the stone bridge, then to the area on the right and stay on the water whilst following the path ahead until you reach a Battle Flag. You’ll now want to go up the stairs and enter a cave, then take the path along to the right of the flag to find the Taoist’s House Key sitting behind a stone pillar.
Hermit of Tianzhu Hidden Village Back Door Key Location¶
Once you’ve got the key, return to the Hidden Village and speak with the lady to give her the good news that you’ve found it, then she’ll mention that she is also missing the Back Door Key. Again she has no idea where it could be, so it’s up to you to find it. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get the Back Door Key and finish this side quest until you’ve progressed a large chunk of the story and unlocked the Main Missions “War’s Flames Blaze Fiercely” which takes place in Chapter 5.
