As of right now, there are 10 Divine Beasts in Wo Long although more could be added in the future DLCs. Each of them has their purpose like Qinglong being more healing orientated to Xiezhi who will fight alongside you. This page will show you all the currently available Divine Beasts in the game including what their stats are, and what skills they have.

All Wood Divine Beasts

Starting with the Wood Divine Beasts which are shown as green icons on the list. Qinglong is more of a healing Divine Beast where as Bixie conjures up lightning storms to decimate your enemies.

Qinglong

Unlocked by completing mission “The Valley of the Crying Wraiths”

The Divine Beast Qinglong is one of the Four Gods and the guardian of the east. In the Sinosphere, it has been the symbol of imperial authority since ancient times. Often depicted soaring among the clouds, Qinglong was among the several types of dragons that became increasingly well-documented during the Qin and Han periods, during which the Five Phases theory rose to prominence. It is associated with the Wood Phase and is said to rule over spring. It also symbolizes bountiful harvest due to its control over the wind and rain, and has featured in reign names several times.

Qinglong is a Wood Divine Beast.

Bixie

Unlocked by completing mission “The Way of the Warrior”

The Divine Beast Bixie is the bane of evildoers and is greatly revered in several eastern countries. Similar in appearance to a winged lion with two horns, it is associated with the Wood Phase. It is prophesied that when Bixie reveals itself, it will render all malevolent beings powerless against humans. It was therefore used decoratively, in insignias, flags, and the like, as a symbol of triumph over evil. Nobles also had stone statues of Bixie made and placed at entrances to their tombs entrusting them to ward off wicked spirits.

Bixie is also a Wood Divine Beasts.

All Earth Divine Beasts

Next up is the Earth Divine Beasts which are shown as brown icons on the list. There are only two currently which are Qilin and Yinglong. Qilin is more of a damage type of Beast whereas Yinglong has a bit more support.

Qilin

Unlocked by completing mission “Two Chivalrous Heroes”

The Divine Beast Qilin is the king of all creatures with fur. It is said to live for 2,000 years and have an appearance combining elements of a deer, an ox, and a horse. This auspicious creature is thought to appear in times when the ruler is just, and apparently visited Confucius when he was born. From the Zhou period to the Han period, it was as revered as dragons and became associated with the Earth Phase in the Five Phases theory. It also features in the term “Qilin child,” used to refer to an outstandingly talented youth with a bright future.

Qilin is an Earth Divine Beasts.

Summons Qilin to create multiple stone pillars in front of you. The number of pillars increases when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.

Yinglong

Unlocked by completing mission “The Crouching Dragon Roars”

Yinglong is a two-winged dragon with iridescent plumage. A spiritual creature said to guard the central region, it is associated with the Earth Phase. Its sanctity is held to be even greater than that of the other Divine Beasts. It directly served the ancient Yellow Emperor and enabled him to win the Battle of Zhuolu by slaying Chiyou and Kuafu. In the time of Yu the Great, it is said to have assisted in alleviating flooding caused by the Yellow River. According to legend, Yinglong is the final form a dragon arrives at after living at least 1,500 years, in effect making it the true form of a dragon.

Yinglong is an Earth Divine Beast.

When you die while the Divine Beast Gauge is full, Yinglong will revive you. When you activate Summon Divine Beast, Yinglong will perform a sweeping attack in the area. The attack power increases when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.

All Fire Divine Beasts

The Fire Divine Beasts are shown as red icons on the list. There are only two currently which are Zhuque and Xiezhi. Zhuque is more of a damage type of Beast whereas Xiezhi can be summoned on to the battlefield for a brief period of time.

Zhuque

Unlocked by completing mission “Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch”

The Divine Beast Zhuque is one of the Four Gods and the guardian of the south. Huge in size and cloaked in flames, it appears in legend as the guide that leads souls to the heavenly realm. Due to this, its image has adorned tombs since before the Qin period. It is thought to have originated from the lands of the Chu people, where a spiritual bird was worshiped as a totem. Chinese folklore features many other mythical avians, but Zhuque is the most famous of them all - a position that was cemented after the Five Phases theory associated it with the Fire Phase and deemed it the ruler of summer.

Zhuque is a Fire Divine Beast.

Summons Zhuque to engulf the surrounding area in fire. An additional attack is performed when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.

Xiezhi

Unlocked by completing mission “Tyrant’s Final Banquet”

The Divine Beast Xiezhi has the power to judge the righteousness of people’s actions. It is similar in appearance to Qilin except it lacks scales and has a long, sole horn on its forehead (leading to it also being known as the “lone-horn beast”). It can sense those who have committed crimes, and upon finding a wrongdoer on a battlefield, it will pierce them with its horn. A widely acknowledged symbol of justice, it is also associated with the Fire Phase. Since the pre-Qin period all who serve in the legal system have worn what is known as a “Xiezhi crown”, in the hope that those presiding over justice will be as fair and honest as the Divine Beast.

Xiezhi is also a Fire Divine Beast.

Summons Xiezhi to fight alongside you for a short duration. The duration increases when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.

All Water Divine Beasts

The Water Divine Beasts are shown as blue icons on the list. There are only two currently which are Baize and Xuanwu. Baize is more of a support type of Beast whereas Xuanwu is more of a ranged-damage focused Beast.

Baize

Unlocked by completing mission “In Search of the Immortal Wizard”

The Divine Beast Baize is said to know all that passes upon the Earth. Only a leader of great virtue may behold this creature with its noble horns like a deer’s, three or more eyes upon both its face and body, and lion’s fur upon its front. Associated with the Water Phase, it is said to have met the Yellow Emperor on the eastern coast during his nationwide tour. In response to his inquiries about the creatures of the land, Baize informed him of the 11,520 different types of foul entities and how they may be avoided or overcome. This encounter led to Baize becoming revered as a ward against demons.

Baize is a Water Divine Beast.

Summons Baize to detect the location of enemies in the area. Additionally, Baize fires icicles at all enemies within the search area. The search range increases when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.

Xuanwu

Unlocked by completing mission “Decisive Battle of Guandu”

The Divine Beast Xuanwu is one of the Four Gods and the guardian of the north. In the Five Phases theory, this part-tortoise, part-snake creature is associated with the Water Phase and is said to rule over winter. Part of the Xuanwu legend is derived from Xuan Ming, an assistant spirit to Zhuan Xu of the Five Emperors, ruler of the north and of water. It is also linked to the ancient Huaxia tribes’ beliefs, in which the longevity of tortoises and snakes led to them being revered as symbols of prosperity for generations. From the Qin period onward, these beliefs were incorporated into the development of the Yin-Yang Five Phases system, and by the Han period, Xuanwu had become what it is today.

Xuanwu is a Water Divine Beast.

Summons Xuanwu to strike nearby enemies with a continuous frost wave, as well as to attack close enemies with icy projectiles. The attack range increases when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.

All Metal Divine Beasts

The Metal Divine Beasts are shown as yellow icons on the list. There are only two currently which are Baihu and Tengshe. Baihu is a Beast that can be summoned to fight alongside you whereas Tengshe is more of a damage focused Beast. Both of them are heavily Toxin-based.

Baihu

Unlocked by completing mission “The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven”

The Divine Beast Baihu is one of the Four Gods and the guardian of the west. During the Han period, tigers were considered the kings of beasts, with even demons being counted among their prey. It is believed that Baihu is a tiger that lived for several hundreds of years and then underwent a transcension. In the Five Phases theory, it is associated with the Metal Phase and rules over fall. It also represents conflict and military force; in ancient times it regularly featured on military flags, and its image was also used for the seals that demonstrated an army had received imperial authorization.

Baihu is a Metal Divine Beast.

Tengshe

Unlocked by completing mission “Centuries of Glory Burned Away”

Tengshe is an enormous flying snake, associated with the Metal Phase. As it can fly nimbly through the sky even without legs or wings, some think that it may be a creature that ends up evolving into a dragon. Others claim that it was formerly part of Xuanwu. In the Sinosphere, it is a symbol of diligence, and in the work of Xun Kuang and poetry of Cao Cao, those who unfailingly succeed by maintaining devoted hearts are likened to Tengshe.

Tengshe is also a Metal Divine Beast.

Summons Tenghse to scatter poison in the area. The attack range and variety of ailments inflicted increases when your Morale Rank is 10 or above. Cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities.
