As you may already know if you played any of Team Ninja’s previous games, such as Nioh & Nioh 2, this game can be very difficult for new players. Where To Get Detox Jerky in Wo Long¶
There are multiple ways of getting your hands on Detox Jerky in Wo Long, such as purchasing it from merchants in the Hidden Village or by finding it as an item drop in certain missions. You can purchase Detox Jerky from two different Merchants and they are the following: Zhu Xia and Zuo Ci. Zhu Xia will sell it to you for a total of 3000 Copper and Zuo Ci will sell it for 300 Accolades. Unfortunately, Zhu Xia won’t be available until you’ve completed the main mission In Search of the Immortal Wizard.
For those who would prefer not to spend any of your hard earned Copper/Accolades, then you can try and find out whilst exploring one of the many missions in the game. Detox Jerky can be found in the following missions: The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven and Let’s Make Our Halberds Shine. If you have no luck, then it’s given as a reward for completing The Request of Goddess Luo. However, there isn’t too much stuff to spend your Copper on, so purchasing it will prevent you wasting a lot of time.
What is Detox Jerky Used For?¶
The primary use of Detox Jerky is for removing the Poison Status Effect and giving you a temporary Poison Resistance which is useful when fighting certain bosses that use poison based attacks or if you’re playing through levels that have areas that have poison you can step in. If you don’t have anything to remove the status effect, then you’ll just lose chunks of health over time which means the tougher enemies will have an easier time killing you. Additionally, Detox Jerky is an item required to complete one of the side quests in the Hidden Village.
