Talk to the little girl by the mural in the Fishing District to discover that she needs help deciphering four murals. Lara offers to help with the other three, which are all located along the western side of the village.

When you have found them all, return to Awil at the mural to find her mother standing there alone. Speak to Mayu to discover that her daughter has been taken away by her father to the abandoned village.

Head west to find the entrance to the abandoned village and follow the rail to the Abandoned Village Base Camp – a serpent guard stands nearby. As you proceed through, you’ll meet Awil’s father who wants to begin a ritual.

Once Lara sets Awil free, you’ll be attacked by the Kukulkan warriors. While the village has plenty of places to hide, it’s best to get some distance first by running and evading. Try to lose them so that you can take the stealth route rather than face them head on. If not, find somewhere to hold down and let them come to you so you can pick them off one at a time.
You’ll only have your bow to use against them, but it’s worth using fire arrows to take some of them out in one hit. If you find yourself struggling, run to the water in the north – the warriors won’t follow you that way, and it’s a good place to draw them to for easy elimination.
Once they are all gone, return to Mayu and Awil at the mural to end the mission and receive your new weapon.
