Lofty’s decided that all of Evan’s friends need new outfits to match their newfound status, and Jared needs some items to make Batu’s outfit. The first item on the list will be five pieces of savage leather, which you can get from Hunting Lodges No. 4 and 5. The second and third items (3 Classic Cords and 2 Champion Buttons, respectively) will be a little harder to obtain, since they both only spawn inside of the Faraway Forest Maze. To acquire these, you will need to visit Faraway Forest Maze, which is located on the island east of Broadleaf and requires you to finish Sidequest 002.

Once that is out of the way, enter the Dreamer’s Door knowing that it is 30 floors in total and your best chance to get the cords and buttons is from the sparkles on floors 21 and above. Note that it is completely random, so there is no guaranteed chance you’ll get them on your first visit. Unfortunately, the “rare materials” option in your Tactic Tweaker doesn’t help with sparkles, since it only affects battles. This brings up a second option to complement the first, which is to let the Danger Level reach five and kill monsters, hoping they drop the items. If you do this method, then the Tactic Tweaker mentioned above will work. Turn in the items, once you have them, to finish the quest.
