Substories are the wackier stories in the Like A Dragon series, to offshoot the more serious tone of the main story. The “Can I Quote You on That?” substory can be acquired during Chapter 7 in Rakugai.
Where to Start Can I Quote You on That?¶
This substory can be found to the northwest of the Scarecrow Chateau in Rakugai which can be found to the north of the Makurogai entrance. Depending on where you come from, head to East Umekojicho and follow that north past the Scarecrow Chateau. As you approach the corner of the street, you’ll get a scene where a crazed Kawaraban Vendor/wannabe reporter will plead with you to help him as he is being chased.
A battle will ensue where you’ll have to face off against three Loyalist Shishi. Fortunately for you, the battle is an easy one that will be no different from any of the regular encounters you’ve fought so far. Once you’ve defeated them, the Vendor/Reporter will ask if he can give you an interview. Accept his request, and he’ll run off.
Can I Quote You on That? Correct Answers¶
To start the Interview with the reporter, you’ll need to head to the Shinsengumi Barracks in Mibu. As you reach the top of the stairs, you’ll find the reporter getting some minor abuse from the Troops until you arrive. After sorting the problem out, you’ll start the interview in your room. The reporter will ask you a series of questions that you’ll want to answer correctly.
Question 1¶
Question 2¶
Question 3¶
Question 4¶
Question 5¶
Although these answers are rather on the boring side, it’s exactly what the Kawaraban Vendor wants to hear, and more importantly what his readers will want to hear.
