Follow Hanaoka / Investigate the Crossroads¶

Speak with Hanaoka outside the house located West of River Child’s Wetlands to begin the Tale, then jump on your Horse and follow him. Eventually you’ll stumble across some Mongol’s, quickly take them out with a Stand Off, then talk to the Peasants before jumping back on your Horse and continuing to follow Hanaoka.

Examine the Mushrooms outside (left), then follow the wind to the river and collect some Moss. (right)

After you’ve traveled a little further, a woman will request Hanaoka’s assistance, so go inside the building and check on Homyo’s son. Once the short conversation has come to a close, jump out of the window and examine the Mushrooms.

Find some Moss / Continue to Follow Hanaoka¶

Inform Hanaoka and then follow the wind to reach the river. Quickly grab the Moss, then return to Hanaoka.

Take out the Mongol’s surrounding the Pond to allow Hanaoka to get the Tubers.

Finally, follow him to a pond and take out the Mongol’s so he can get the Tuber’s, then jump on your horse again and head for the camp to complete the Tale.
