Fight off the Mongols¶

Head back to the Dojo after completing The Past Never Passes Tale and sit with Ishikawa to begin this Tale. After the cutscene, fight off the incoming Mongols, then speak with Ishikawa before sprinting down to Hiyoshi Springs.

Follow Ishikawa¶

Once you’ve gone past the peasants you’ll want survey the area by pressing [X] on the white lines, then fight off the incoming group off Mongols with your recently acquired Flaming Arrows.

Survey the area (left), then use your Flaming Arrows to take down the enemies with explosive barrels or dry grass. (right)

Hold [R2] and press [Triangle] to equip the arrows, then wait for the enemies to get closer before shooting the dry grass or explosive barrels to take them out. After the area has been cleared, speak with Ishikawa to initiate a cutscene.
