Quick Mission Guide¶
Follow these steps to complete the mission successfully without worrying about medal requirements. If you need help with the Gold Medal, check here.
- Once you’ve completed “Complications” and “Pulling Favors”, meet Marry-Ann in Pacific Bluffs to begin this mission.
- Run! - After the scene has come to a close, race Marry-Ann down to Del Perro Beach to complete the mission.

- Contender - Win the race without using shortcuts.
Contender¶
As always with these missions, it helps tremendously if you have high stamina. This race is quite difficult to win and you have to continuously mash the sprint button or you will lose.

Avoid oncoming pedestrians (left), and make sure to jump down the stairs as these will both slow you down. (right)
Make sure to stick tight to the paths, especially when turning corners. There is a stretch where you must run down some steps. You will probably be passed as you go down them because for some reason, Michael can’t run down steps at full speed but Crazy Lady (Mary-Ann) can. Don’t panic, just get to the bottom then spam that sprint button as fast as you can for the final stretch. You should just pip her to the post and get that gold medal.
