Fastest Way to Make Money

Making Money when starting GTA Online is a long and tricky process, as you don’t have access to heists/businesses at this point. However you’ll want to use the tips below to make enough money for a High-End Apartment.

  • Spin the Wheel

To begin, head over to the Diamond Casino & Resort and spin the wheel everytime you login, as this has a chance to give you around $50,000.

  • Rob Stores

There’s a total of 19 stores to rob in Los Santos. This won’t give you a lot of cash but you get a Trophy at the end of it, so there’s no reason not to do it.

  • Sell Cars

Another quick method of making cash is to steal cars on the street and sell them. But beware there’s a limit on how many you can sell at one time, so make sure to sell cars that give you around $8,000.

(1 of 2) Make sure to rob all stores around the map for a trophy

Jobs

Once you’ve exhausted the options above you’ll want to begin doing jobs. Below you’ll find a few of the highest paying jobs GTA Online has to offer.

  1. Rooftop Rumble - This Mission will reward you with $14630 and can be found at Mission Row.
  2. Trash Talk - This Mission will reward you with $14860 and can be found at El Burro Heights.
  3. Parking Garage - This Mission will reward you with $13850 and can be found at the Pillbox Hill.
  4. Extradition - This Mission will reward you with $13650 and can be found at Fort Zancudo.
  5. Diamonds Are For Trevor - This Mission will reward you with $13320 and can be found in Paleto Bay.

Best Ways to Make Money

Upon acquiring a high-end apartment you’ll want to begin using the other paths GTA Online has to offer to make a lot more money. Below you’ll find the best ways to make the most money with your time.

Heists

When you start playing through the heists, make sure to play them in the following order, as you’ll gain a first time completion bonus of $100,000 and an extra $1,000,000 if you finish them in order.

Name Players Setup Cost Reward (Easy) Reward (Normal) Reward (Hard)
The Fleece Job 2 $11,500 $57,500 $115,000 $143,750
The Prison Break 4 $40,000 $200,000 $400,000 $500,000
The Humane Labs Raid 4 $54,000 $270,000 $540,000 $675,000

The Pacific Standard 4 $100,000 $500,000 $1,000,000 $1,250,000
  • The Doomsday Heist

Once you’ve completed the five original heists, you’ll want to begin the Doomsday Heists, which are the following.

Name Players Setup Cost Reward (Normal) Reward (Hard
The Data Breaches 4 $65,000 $650,000 $812,500

The Doomsday Scenario 4 $120,000 $1,200,000 $1,500,000

After you’ve completed all heists, you’ll want to farm the Pacific Standard whilst making use of Businesses on the side.

Businesses

Now that you own a nice apartment and have completed all the heists that GTA Online has available, it’s time to begin purchasing some Businesses. Below you’ll find the businesses you can own.

(1 of 3) Purchase a Nightclub

Purchase a nightclub for $1,080,000+ and you’ll make around $10,000 every ingame day if you’re at 100% popularity. However, the warehouse it comes with is used as a hub for your other businesses. To make the use of this, purchase one of the following businesses along with a technician.

Name How to Start Startup Cost
Cargo and Shipments Purchase a Special Cargo Warehouse $250,000
Sporting Goods Purchase a Gunrunning Bunker $1,165,000
South American Imports Purchase a Cocaine Lockup $975,000
Pharmaceutical Research Purchase a Methamphetamine Lab $910,000
Organic Produce Purchase a Weed Farm $805,200
Printing & Copying Purchase a Document Forgery Office $732,000
Cash Creation Purchase a Counterfeit Cash Factory $845,000

For now, you’ll want to focus on the Cargo and Shipments and Sporting Goods as between them you’ll earn around $900,000.

  • Cargo and Shipments

In order to get the Cargo and Shipments up and running, purchase an Executive Office for $1,000,000, then purchase a Special Cargo Warehouse for $250,000. Once you own both of these, you can purchase the following goods for your warehouse.

  1. Weapons & Ammo
  2. Tobacco & Alcohol
  3. Narcotics
  4. Medical Supplies
  5. Jewelry
  6. Gemstones
  7. Electronic Goods
  8. Counterfeit Goods
  9. Bullion
  10. Art & Antiques
  11. Animal Materials

Once you’ve purchased a crate, you’ll have a random mission to complete, then you’ll have to wait for a while until you can purchase another. Finally, when your storage is full, sell the crates for a large payout.
